We are grateful for the picture that Jean has done of Cambria. We hope this drawing will inspire others.
The family wanted Cami's picture to include her walker because that is the way we remember her. To us, this picture shows Jesus' watchful care while she was upon this earth. We felt His strong spirit in her, and she reflected His love to everyone she met. Jean has put Cami's whole personality in her face. She was always smiling and full of life.
Cambria, (also known as Cami), was a beautiful five-year-old girl, full of life and love. She was born with Cerebral Palsy and could not walk. Physically her trials were difficult for her. She struggled to live from the time of birth. She was born approximately 8 weeks early. With the help of doctors, nurses, and therapists she was eventually able to walk with a walker. She was independent and always wanted to do things on her own. She would practice for hours to accomplish the things that she wanted to do. She was very bright and loved to learn. She won the hearts of all she came in contact with because of her beautiful magnetic smile and the unconditional love that she naturally displayed. Cambria was a perfect child. She passed away at the age of five years old. She was a true disciple of Jesus Christ. She truly loves her Savior, family and friends.
